Dr. Neil Fried, DPM
Foot and Ankle Specialist / Surgeon
Dr. Neil Fried graduated Magna Cum Laude from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science – Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his residency training in Foot and Ankle Surgery and Podiatric Medicine at Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, followed by a fellowship in Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery at the Foot and Ankle Institute in Chicago.
During his fellowship Dr. Fried participated in 2 medical missions to underserved regions of Mexico. He is board certified in Foot and Ankle Surgery. His background includes being a clinical assistant professor and division director of Foot and Ankle Surgery with the Orthopedic Surgery Department at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) where he was also the assistant clinic director. He has also been the head of lower extremity wound management at Prime Care Physicians also in Chicago.
Dr. Fried’s expertise and interests lie in Foot and Ankle trauma and Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery. He has extensive experience in Ankle Arthroscopy and Sports Injuries. While at UIC he was the consulting Podiatrist for the Chicago Sky WNBA team as well as all UIC sports teams. In addition, Dr. Fried was a member of the medical team for the United Center musical concert series.
